The DMRAA is a very old and very established ham club that has a lot of very nice people on the 146.940 repeater.
ARCS CLUB DES MOINES
The ARCS club is a high technolgy based club of local hams who pride themselves on being up on all the newest and coolest trends in radio and technolgy. If these guys don't know they know someone who does. They meet every Sunday night for a net or two.
IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY ISU CLUB
The Cyclone Amateur Radio Club is a group of ISU students, faculty, and staff sharing a common interest in Amateur Radio. The purpose of the club is to promote Amateur Radio through information sharing, technical exploration, and community involvement.
NORTH EAST IOWA HAM CLUB
The Northeast Iowa Radio Amateur Association, founded in 1928, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Amateur Radio related education and activities in the Waterloo / Cedar Falls area. The club is affiliated with the national Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL), and is responsible for maintaining emergency communications repeaters in the area for use by all amateurs.
THE 145.310- ASHLAND NEBERASKA REPEATER
The Ashland Amateur Radio Club was formed in 1997 by a small handful of local Amateur Radio Operators. The club's first goal and continues to be one of its top priorities is the furthering of Amateur Radio, by being involved with the community. THEY ARE RUNNING 50 watts up about 500 feet. WOW and they get out really well!
